Job Description Summary

The Program

Par Health offers an 11-week internship program designed to provide an immersive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Par Health Intern, you’ll have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study. This program allows you to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world corporate setting while building valuable connections through networking opportunities across the organization.

Summary of Position

In this position, the individual will work closely with our product management and analytics teams to learn and understand the data available within the generics pharmaceuticals industry and how that data is used to inform and make decisions. While working with us, this individual will utilize available data assets and evaluate tools to create and deliver insights across the team.

Job Description

Responsibilities

The Intern will gain exposure to the Generics Pharmaceutical Industry by:

  • Working with Product Managers and Operations team to understand the process and inputs for developing commercial forecasts, demand plans and supply plans
  • Leveraging industry data sources evaluate changes in market conditions and pricing trends
  • Participating in strategic discussions assessing product demand  to evaluate new business opportunities
  • Participating in regular SIOP review meetings

Minimum Requirements

Enrolled in bachelor’s degree program related to Business, Finance, Data Science or Analytics with an interest in the Pharmaceuticals or Healthcare industry.

Experience with MS Office, etc.

  • Education: Must be going into at least 3rd year of school
  • Motivated self-starter, operates independently, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, etc. 
  • Has acquired skills/experiences in data analysis

Relationship with Others/Scope of Position

This role will report into Director of Product Management. Interact with other team members and cross functionally as needed
