This role is responsible for safely transporting lumber, mats, and finished wood products throughout the facility while maintaining efficient production flow and organized storage areas. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and is committed to workplace safety, teamwork, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Safely operate industrial forklifts to transport lumber, timber, mats, and materials throughout the facility Load and unload trailers accurately and efficiently Supply production lines with materials to maintain workflow Stack, organize, and maintain lumber storage and yard areas Perform daily forklift inspections and basic preventative maintenance Follow OSHA guidelines and all company safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work environment Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Assist with additional production or warehouse duties as assigned QualificationsQualifications Previous forklift operating experience required Industrial, sawmill, lumber, or manufacturing experience preferred Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environments Ability to work extended shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed Ability to lift to 50 pounds or more and climb on/off equipment throughout the shift Benefits Competitive pay 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Opportunities for advancement and career growth About Beasley Group Founded in 1968, the Beasley Group has grown into one of the largest hardwood sawmill and forest products companies in North America.
