Job DetailsJob Location: THOMPSON HARDWOODS INC - HAZLEHURST, GA 31539Job Shift: Night ShiftTHOMPSON HARDWOODS INC HAZLEHURST, GA We are seeking a motivated and dependable Utility Fill In Rover/Production Worker for our night shift operations within the sawmill. This position is designed as a versatile, fill-in role where the employee will rotate through various departments and tasks. The supervisor will evaluate performance and strengths to determine the best long-term placement within the mill. THIS IS AN HOURLY POSITION   Key Responsibilities: Rotate through multiple departments to support production needs Fill in for operators and team members as needed Perform general labor duties including stacking, sorting, cleanup, material handling, and equipment assistance Assist with machine operation under supervision Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas Follow all safety procedures and company policies Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities   Qualifications: Ability to work night shift hours consistently Strong work ethic and willingness to learn multiple positions Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial sawmill environment Good attendance and reliability Mechanical aptitude is a plus Ability to follow instructions and work independently   Work Environment: Industrial sawmill setting Exposure to dust, noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures Physically demanding work environment   Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting for extended periods Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and machinery QualificationsQualifications: Ability to work night shift hours consistently Strong work ethic and willingness to learn multiple positions Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial sawmill environment Good attendance and reliability Mechanical aptitude is a plus Ability to follow instructions and work independently   Work Environment: Industrial sawmill setting Exposure to dust, noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures Physically demanding work environment   Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting for extended periods Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and machinery
