Join Amcor as a Manufacturing Assistant and play a vital role in supporting our production operations across Press, Extrusion, or Converting. In this hands-on position, you’ll assist operators, prepare materials, monitor equipment, and help ensure our products meet safety and quality standards. You’ll be part of a collaborative, team-driven environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.Â

Job Description: Possibility UnpackedÂ
What you’ll do:Â
Assist operators with set-up, operation, and monitoring of press, extrusion, or converting equipmentÂ
Prepare, load, and stage raw materials, rolls, inks, cartons, and supplies needed for continuous productionÂ
Transport materials using hoists, forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipmentÂ
Remove finished rolls, pallets, or waste and stage for the next step in the processÂ
Inspect materials and running product for defects and report quality issuesÂ
Perform roll changes, ink changes, and material changeovers as directedÂ
Record production data, weights, and complete required documentationÂ
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with GMP, AIB, and food safety standardsÂ
Assist with housekeeping, waste handling, and recycling activitiesÂ
Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement effortsÂ
Follow all safety, PPE, lockout/tagout, and company policiesÂ
Assist other team members and departments as neededÂ

Preferred qualifications:Â
High School Diploma or GEDÂ
Manufacturing experience preferred but not requiredÂ
Basic math and measuring skillsÂ
Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructionsÂ
Ability to work effectively in a team environmentÂ

Physical RequirementsÂ
Lift and carry materials up to 50–60 lbsÂ
Stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shiftÂ

Steel-toed shoes and required PPE must be wornÂ
