WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

  • Plan, execute and lead internal audits and support in audit reviews
  • Monitor the regulatory environment and assess applicability and action items for Internal Audit and/or the organization
  • Identify and evaluate the effectiveness of controls
  • Monitor and execute Risk Assessment and audit planning activities 
  • Support continuous improvement process in audit activities, including software tools, data analytics and process automation/AI
  • Review and prepare reports for Trade Republic management and other stakeholders, including identification, definition and communication of suitable relevant actions/measures
  • Follow-up of findings raised in previous audits or by external/regulatory auditors to assess remediation status
  • Develop and maintain sustainable, trustworthy and effective relationships with key stakeholders in Trade Republic
  • Act as an advisor and expert on Banking/Regulatory topics in the Internal Audit team and as contact person for external parties with regard to relevant regulatory topics

 

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in internal or external audit 
  • You bring ability and curiosity to work in an agile, fast-changing Tech company with a diverse and dynamic team setup and state-of-the-art tools
  • You have in-depth knowledge of German and European financial regulations applying to banks and financial institutions, e.g. particular MaRisk, WpHG, KWG/WpIG, CRR as well as experience and interest in financial products and innovative technology
  • You are passionate about a structured and independent way of working, a very good understanding of processes and expertise in process analysis and description while thinking out of the box
  • Problem-solving and driving change by using innovative solutions is as natural to you as paying attention to every detail
  • To sum it up, your excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English allow you to ease communication with stakeholders, both internally and externally.
