About the Role

Voltage is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead and optimize operational performance across manufacturing support, supply chain, logistics, and project execution. Reporting to the VP of Global Operations, this role serves as a key leader driving alignment between domestic and international operations while ensuring efficient, scalable execution. You will play a critical role in building high-performing teams, strengthening processes, and delivering operational excellence across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead day-to-day operations across order intake, planning, procurement, production coordination, logistics, and delivery.

  • Drive on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance and ensure alignment with customer commitments.

  • Develop and implement scalable processes, workflows, and operational controls.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and lead-time optimization.

  • Oversee supply chain planning, procurement support, and logistics execution.

  • Manage domestic and international transportation, including import/export coordination and compliance.

  • Optimize freight strategies and monitor transportation costs.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Customer Support to ensure aligned execution.

  • Maintain visibility over project milestones, risks, and delivery timelines.

  • Oversee order governance, change management, and release processes.

  • Monitor operational budgets, cost performance, and KPI metrics.

  • Analyze data to drive improvements in service, efficiency, and cost control.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.

  • Support audits, risk management, and business continuity planning.

  • Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional teams including Logistics and Project Management.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing leadership.

  • 10+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.

  • Experience managing complex domestic and global supply chain operations.

  • Strong background in logistics, inventory control, and process optimization.

  • Proven ability to drive operational performance improvements and scale operations.

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or renewable energy environments preferred.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and operational processes.

  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and KPIs.

  • Data-driven decision-making and analytical mindset.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
