WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Automate and Secure: Assess, optimize, and automate our Jamf Pro environment, leveraging Bash/Python scripting and APIs for large-scale deployments, patch management, and macOS security compliance.
  • Build automation pipelines and workflows to improve operational efficiency using CI/CD tools, Git, and GitHub for version control and change management.
  • Administer and Integrate: Manage and extend our Atlassian Cloud ecosystem (Jira, Jira Service Management) , including custom workflows, automation rules, permissions, notifications, and integrations with external systems.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles to ensure operational consistency and cross-team transparency.
  • Architect and Enhance: Design and implement secure, scalable identity and access management solutions using Okta, including SSO, MFA, and Okta Workflows, integrated with enterprise directories and SaaS platforms.
  • Develop and optimize AWS Workspaces, EC2, and supporting AWS services to enhance endpoint availability, performance, and security.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in IT Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, or a related field within a fast-paced, cloud-first environment.
  • Proven expertise managing Apple ecosystems (macOS, iOS), including Apple Business Manager, Jamf Pro, and endpoint security best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of Okta administration (SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, workflows) and Google Workspace integrations.
  • Experience administering Atlassian Cloud (Jira, Jira Service Management) including project configuration, workflow design, permissions, dashboards, and automation etc.
  • Solid scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash) with experience integrating systems via APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub for code versioning, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and mentor junior engineers.
