About the Role
Voltage is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations within our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will oversee material flow, inventory control, and team performance to ensure production is supported with accurate, timely material delivery. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, driving operational efficiency, and building a strong, safety-focused team environment.
What You’ll Do
Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, staging, and shipping.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production lines.
Coordinate inbound and outbound freight activities with carriers and logistics partners.
Monitor shipping schedules to meet production and customer requirements.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.
Execute and oversee ERP transactions (goods receipt, goods issue, transfers, and shipping processes).
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Ensure proper inventory practices including FIFO/FEFO and lot traceability.
Maintain warehouse organization, labeling standards, and 5S practices.
Lead, train, and develop warehouse team members.
Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity and performance.
Support onboarding, cross-training, and workforce planning efforts.
Enforce safety standards, including forklift operation and workplace procedures.
Partner with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve material issues and shortages.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required.
3+ years of warehouse or materials experience in a manufacturing environment.
1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse operations.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience with SAP WM/MM, barcode scanning, or RF systems preferred.
Background in manufacturing environments (industrial, automotive, electronics, or similar) preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) and APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP) preferred.
