Copenhagen, Denmark 
 

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Student Designer to join our Design Operations team working primarily on our design system. This position is ideal for students pursuing a career in user interface design, user experience design, product design, design systems, or a related field. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistent and visually appealing user interfaces across all our products on both desktop and mobile. 

What you’ll do 

  • Assist in designing and developing reusable UI components such as buttons, forms, and navigation elements in our Figma component library 

  • Help create and maintain design guidelines and best practices for the design system 

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of UI components and adherence to design specifications and vice versa 

  • Participate in regular audits of existing UI components and design patterns to identify areas for improvement and consistency 

  • Support the development and upkeep of comprehensive documentation for the design system, including usage guidelines and design patterns 

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI design and design systems to inform your work 

About you 

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Product Design, UX Design, Interaction Design, or a similar field 

  • Basic knowledge of design tools (we use Figma) and principles of UX/UI design 

  • Analytical and systematic thinking skills with attention to detail 

  • Passion for UI design, design systems, components, design patterns, and documentation 

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team environment 

  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt 

  • Not afraid to ask questions
