Salary/Grade:Â $15 per hour; 73 Non-Exempt

Position Overview : Responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for the program participants and the staff of the Seaford Sussex Chapel at all times, including but not limited to, facility and grounds cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and property repairs.
Responsibilities
Duties Include:
- Maintaining janitorial supplies inventory, as well as notify the Office Manager of the need to order
- Assist with special projects and
- Be available on an on-call basis for problems or concerns related to the cleaning, operation, and safety of the
- Sweep, mop, dust, strip wax, buff and maintain all floors in all areas throughout the
- Empty all trash receptacles, daily, throughout the building and replace them with new liners.
- Clean the inside and outside of the trash receptacles, as
- Maintain all cleaning supplies in a clean and sanitary
- Wash walls, doors, and other surfaces, when needed.
- Clean glass doors
- Clean and replenish (toilet paper, soap, and towels) in all restrooms throughout the
- Keep stairwells swept and
- Clean, dust, Windex, and vacuum the Chapel in preparation for Sunday services, as well as arrange chairs as
- Replace all non-working light bulbs throughout the building, including the EXIT
- Provide ground upkeep and maintenance
- Remove snow and maintain sidewalks during inclement Salt as needed.
- Inform the Office Manager of all major repairs and assist the Corps Officer(s) in maintaining and organizing all storage.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School graduate or High School Equivalency diploma.
- Must have the ability to communicate welt with a broad variety of constituents, including clients, leadership, volunteers, and co-workers.
- Must have the ability to use general office machines and be able to use a computer and telephone.
- Must be computer proficient in Microsoft Office & Excel with the ability to learn new programs easily.
- Must possess the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Law requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check. In addition, completion of a Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training is necessary prior to employment.
