Project Manager — New West Building Company (Jackson, WY / Teton Valley, ID)

New West Building Company builds high-quality residential and commercial projects with a focus on craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork. We’re looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our team in Jackson, Wyoming/Teton Valley, ID.

About the Role

New West Building Company Project Managers are responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of a project from preconstruction through closeout and warranty. This role requires strong communication and collaboration with clients, design teams, and internal/external field and office teams. The Project Manager is accountable for managing budget, quality, and schedule while driving alignment across all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead preconstruction coordination, including estimating support and contract negotiations

  • Correspond with subcontract partners regarding scopes, proposals, and shop drawings

  • Work closely with internal project teams to resolve design issues and ensure strong coordination between field and office staff

  • Coordinate with the owner and design team to incorporate competitive pricing and/or present value engineering opportunities

  • Conduct subcontractor and OAC meetings weekly (or as needed) to maintain alignment on progress and actionable tasks

  • Manage change order processes with owners and subcontractors in a timely manner

  • Uphold a strong commitment to OSHA and NWBC safety policies, ensuring team members return home safely each day

  • Coordinate with field leadership to update and control the project schedule

  • Maintain proper document control, including plans, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation

  • Execute closeout procedures and project commissioning while maintaining a positive owner relationship

  • Ensure predictable monthly billings and subcontractor payments by partnering with the accounting team

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar Project Manager role

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Operational experience with: Procore, Sage Intacct, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Planera.

  • Proven ability to operate successfully on large teams with professionalism, respect, confidence, and enthusiasm

  • Working knowledge of construction management processes, applicable rules/regulations, and quality standards
