Job Requirements

The Aubuchon Company is seeking a reliable Gutter and Insulation Installer. A gutter and insulation installer safely fits, repairs, and replaces rain drainage systems and thermal insulation materials. They measure and cut materials, operate hand and power tools, work at heights or in tight crawl spaces, and ensure proper energy efficiency and water flow.

Gutter Installation: Measure, cut, and attach aluminum, copper, or vinyl gutters, splash blocks, and downspouts with correct water drainage pitches.

Insulation Installation: Fit, staple, blow, or spray fiberglass, cellulose, or spray-foam insulation into attics, crawl spaces, walls, and around pipes.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

ā— Review daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all product(s), tools and equipment for the day

ā— Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections

ā— Safely unload and stage material at job site

ā— Report safety, customer or quality concerns

ā— Install quality aluminum, steel, and copper gutter systems

ā— Ensure precise, accurate installations

ā— Measure, cut, fabricate, and assemble on-site

ā— Safely and efficiently use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment

ā— Work on ladders and lift equipment as needed

ā— Maintain high standards of workmanship and job-site safety



Work Experience

ā— Experience in insulation and/or gutter installation, metal fabrication, or similar construction work preferred but not required

ā— Strong skills in measuring, cutting, and working at heights and/or in tight spaces preferred but not required

ā— Comfortable using hand tools and power tools (gutter machine experience a plus)

ā— Ability to work as part of a team

ā— Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented

ā— Commitment to quality

ā— Must possess a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving a truck and trailer to job sites throughout service areas.

ā— Experience towing trailers and maintaining a clean driving record.

ā— Able to lift, carry, and load materials, equipment, and gutter machines (up to 60 lbs. unassisted)

ā— Capacity to safely climb, balance, and work on ladders, scaffolding, and roofs (often up to 30 feet or more) without fear of heights

ā— Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching to install brackets, cut metal, and apply caulk

ā— Ability to stand, walk, and perform rigorous physical labor for extended periods of time (8-10 hours a day)

ā— Strong grip, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills to operate heavy-duty power tools (drills, saws) and hand tools safety

ā— Physical stamina to withstand varying and sometimes extreme weather conditions, including intense heat, cold, and rain

ā— Normal or corrected vision to read measurements, ensure perfect leveling and spot structural hazards
