Magnum Operator
BR Printers is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Magnum Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring Magnum production equipment while maintaining high standards for quality, efficiency, and workplace safety. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing or machine operating experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements
What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, and monitor Magnum equipment for production runs.
- Review job tickets and verify specifications before beginning production.
- Perform machine adjustments to maintain quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with customer and company quality standards.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical and operational issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Complete routine equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain accurate production, downtime, and quality records.
- Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with production team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Who You Are
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience operating manufacturing, printing, converting, or production equipment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read work orders, job tickets, and production specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Extra Skills That Set You Apart
- Previous commercial printing or bindery experience.
- Experience operating Magnum or similar production equipment.
- Mechanical maintenance or troubleshooting experience.
- Forklift certification.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures within a manufacturing environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
Available Shift:
Shift 1B: Thurs-Sat 5:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m (12-hr)
Overtime may be required based on production demands.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
- Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery.
- Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures, noise, and printing materials.
