What you’ll do:Â
- Receive raw material containers from Armor subsidiary.  Match up container numbers with the POs as containers arrive, unloads containers, signs off on driver’s paperwork, scans products with the RF guns, break pallets down and scans them into appropriate locations.
- Receive raw materials from local suppliers, record items and quantities on receiving log and give to Materials and Production Planning Supervisor
- Operates a forklift, a cherry picker, and a narrow isle forklift to retrieve, move and load materials.
- Unload, login, and put away materials from containers.
- Schedule, load, and fill out paperwork for empty containers that have skids and end pieces loaded for return to France.
- Keep jumbos, leaders, cores, and all other raw materials stocked in the supermarket, racking locations, and other visual management stations.
- Ensures all transfers are kept up to date for R20 to R10 and R10 to P10.
- Taking monthly inventory of raw materials and maintains inventory accuracy between counts.
- Responsible for completing the weekly non-inventory counts.
- Responsible for the end of year counts for the receiving warehouses.
- Responsible for securing bales compacted in baler and for shipping out the scrap material.
- Responsible for transporting the jumbos that have been unloaded at 3000 to 2900 using the company provided box truck.Â
- Responsible for refueling the company box truck as needed.Â
- Must be able to pass DOT physical.
- Schedule container delivery of imported materials.
- Water all forklift batteries and fill out daily OSHA required checklist.
- Keeps warehouse clean & ensures areas are neat and clean following 5S guidelines.
- Operate a forklift, cherry picker, stacker, and narrow aisle forklift to retrieve, move and load materials.
- Helps ensure team member are cross trained and able to cover functions in Shipping Department when needed.
- Other task may be assigned as needed by the company.
What you have:Â
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- 3 to 6 years of experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal written and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as appropriate.
