Shift

B shift - 12 hour rotation, 6pm - 6am, (Sunday, Monday & Tuesday and every other Saturday)


As a Quality Technician, you will support production by testing, inspecting, and evaluating materials and products to ensure they meet quality standards. This role helps maintain consistent product performance, supports problem-solving efforts, and contributes to supplier and process quality initiatives that uphold overall plant and product excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain 5S standards throughout the work area.
  • Follow SOPs, Work Instructions, Control and Test Plans for products, including Solvent Inks, Inkjet, Adhesive Inkjet, Thermal Transfer Ribbon, and Direct Thermal products.
  • Contain nonconforming products and communicate issues to supervision, Engineering, and QA management.
  • Perform process and product quality testing, audits, and inspections; collect and maintain samples.
  • Support complaint investigations, problem-solving, and evaluation of manufacturing qualifications or new product commercialization.
  • Assist in supplier quality activities, inspections, and certification maintenance.
  • Maintain an orderly work environment, including cleaning and equipment maintenance as required.
  • Additional duties as assigned to meet department and company goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Understanding of ARMOR IIMAK products and production processes.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications and perform basic data analysis.
  • Ability to use basic QA and precision lab measuring equipment with limited assistance.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in work schedule, including coverage of additional shifts as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a lab or quality control environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of QA testing methods and lab equipment.
  • Experience supporting product commercialization or supplier quality audits.
