What You’ll Do
- Perform building, mechanical, and preventive maintenance to support employee and laboratory environments
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, and facility systems
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal partners
- Prioritize work using PM systems and work orders; ensure timely, code‑compliant completion
- Order materials and maintain accurate documentation in the CMMS
- Participate in on‑call rotation as needed
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of maintenance or skilled trade experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, electrical, and building systems
- Knowledge of 110/220V, single‑phase, and 3‑phase systems
- Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work weekday day shift with on‑call rotation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with boiler or hydronic systems or Journeyman Plumber License
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems, electrical controls, BAS, or CMMS
