Job DetailsJob Location: Heflin Branch - Heflin, AL 36264Competencies Required: Customer service skills with effective problem solving abilities; ability to maintain composure and convey a positive attitude while interacting with customers as well as staff members. Cash handling experience. General knowledge of Computer and General Office Equipment.  Applicant must have ability to quickly learn banking software. Ability to work flexible or extended working hours to meet bank needs; demonstrate good attendance and punctuality. Outstanding listening and communication skills both written and verbal. Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn banking products, policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines for compliance issues related to job duties. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload. Practices bank security procedures; protects customer confidentiality and privacy.   Minimum Qualifications / Experience: 1-3 years customer service, cash handling  or banking experience preferred High School Diploma or equivalent required.   Position: Accepts checks for cashing-verifying identity of customer Accepts checks / cash for deposits.  Verifies cash and endorsement, makes change, and issues receipts. Processes Tax Deposits Receives and processes loan payments Processes credit card cash advances Balances Cash Drawer Balance and Stock ATM Processes night deposits and mail-in deposits Sells money orders, cashiers, cash advances and other bank related services. Responds to customer inquiries as appropriate Maintains proper cash level in drawers, keep cash secure and maintains high level of safety for the Bank.
