Job Description: Surgical Technologist The Staff Pad is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to support a leading hospital’s mission of delivering exceptional surgical care. In this role, you will assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures, maintain a sterile environment, prepare operating rooms, manage surgical instruments and supply levels, and ensure compliance with safety and infection-control standards. This position also supports departmental meetings, staff collaboration, and performance improvement activities. Responsibilities: Assist surgeons during procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique. Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies are available. Monitor, stock, and organize surgical instruments and supplies. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments per hospital protocols. Handle medications under direct supervision. Participate in meetings, trainings, and quality improvement efforts. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of OR technician experience or certification in OR technology. Ability to independently scrub in all surgical specialties. High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of a two-year Surgical Technologist program preferred.
