As a Construction Laborer at Steed Industries, you will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial concrete projects. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting skilled tradespeople, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and performing various physical tasks to ensure the efficient operation of construction activities. Key Responsibilities
- Assistance: Support skilled workers with concrete pouring, finishing, and formwork installation while adhering to project specifications and quality standards.Â
- Site Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe by removing debris and ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.Â
- Material Handling: Assist in the transportation and setup of materials and equipment, following all safety protocols to minimize risks.Â
- Physical Labor: Perform various manual labor tasks, including digging, hauling, and lifting materials as needed throughout the project.Â
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety practices and protocols on-site, participating in safety meetings and ensuring that personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times.Â
- Collaboration: Work effectively with team members and communicate any issues or concerns to supervisors to maintain a smooth workflow.Â
- Training: Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in concrete construction and best practices.Â
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or labor roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.Â
