Key Responsibilities: Respond to crisis calls and provide on-scene mental health assessments Assist in determining safety, appropriate interventions, and transportation needs Develop safety plans and provide supportive guidance to individuals and families Evaluate clinical need for hospitalization or involuntary treatment per legal criteria Follow up with individuals in crisis and coordinate referrals to community resources Maintain professional communication with law enforcement, first responders, and community members Complete clinical documentation and reports according to established policies Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, or counseling required Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in a related field; must be able to graduate within 2 years of hire Minimum 3 years clinical experience, including 1 year assessing/treating adults with severe mental illness and 6 months inpatient experience BLS certification required; Licensed Addiction Counselor preferred Valid Montana driver’s license with a clear driving record Skills & Aptitudes: Strong crisis assessment, clinical judgment, and decision-making skills Ability to provide empathetic and professional care under high-stress situations Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and unpredictable work environments Schedule: Nights (approximately 36 hours/week)
