Position Overview

As an MRI Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout every exam. You’ll work closely with radiologists, physicians, and fellow imaging professionals to provide high-quality MRI studies that support accurate diagnoses and outstanding patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive MRI and contrast media safety screenings to ensure every patient receives safe, high-quality imaging care.
  • Review implants and medical devices to ensure safe MRI scanning and monitor patient safdety throughout the examination process
  • Verify patient details, educate and guide patients through the imaging process with empathy and professionalism
  • Administer IV contrasts in accordance with physician orders and safety standards
  • Position patients accurately and operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Verify and transfer quality images to PACS
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and hospital regulations
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department workflow enhancements
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members
  • Maintain and manage imaging equipment and inventory supplies
  • Foster positive communication and teamwork across departments

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
  • Current ARRT certification in MRI required
  • Current Montana Radiologic Technologist permit required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology preferred

 Schedule:

  • Monday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Thursday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
