Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

Outpatient | Helena, MT

The Staff Pad has partnered with look to hire an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join a close-knit, mission-driven therapy team in Helena, Montana.

This is an outpatient-based role. The focus is simple - High-quality care, delivered in the setting that best supports each family.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide therapeutic and self-care interventions to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR)

  • Monitor patient performance to ensure exercises and activities are completed safely and correctly

  • Participate in team meetings and case conferences to support coordinated care plans

  • Document daily treatment notes and weekly progress accurately and on time

  • Maintain treatment areas, therapy equipment, and supplies

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment techniques under OTR guidance

  • Support administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations



Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

  • Current Montana OTA license, or ability to obtain licensures

  • CPR certification

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Compassion and patience when working with patients and families

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Physical capability to lift patients, carry equipment, and remain active throughout the day

  • High attention to detail and ability to follow treatment plans precisely

  • Strong organizational skills and respect for patient confidentiality
