The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputable healthcare organization in Helena, MT to seek an experienced Quality Improvement Nurse to join the Quality Department.

This role plays a key part in advancing patient safety, clinical excellence, and the overall patient experience through data-driven decision-making and collaborative quality improvement initiatives.

Schedule: Full-Time

What You’ll Do

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety and clinical excellence
  • Analyze clinical outcomes and use data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate quality improvement projects across the organization
  • Collaborate with the Director of Quality and interdisciplinary teams
  • Educate staff on quality improvement initiatives and best practices
  • Drive meaningful changes that improve healthcare processes and quality of care
  • Support initiatives that enhance the overall patient experience

What We Are Looking For

Education and Experience

  • Associate degree required, BS degree or equivalent preferred
  • Current Montana RN license required
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)certification preferred or willingness to obtain after hire
  • 10 years of healthcare nursing experience required
  • 5+ years of quality and safety improvement experience in an acute care setting
  • Data extraction and analytics experience preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication, time management and scheduling skills
  • Client relations, professionalism, communication, composure in challenging situations
  • Ability to facilitate multidisciplinary teams toward actionable goals
