Schedule: Float Pool | Night Shift | 0.9 FTE or 0.75 FTE

What You’ll Do

As a Float Pool RN on the Night Shift team, you’ll provide exceptional care while supporting various departments throughout the hospital. Your responsibilities will be to :

  • Apply the nursing process to deliver high-quality, patient and family-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
  • Collect, verify, and organize patient health information to support clinical decision-making and effective treatment
  • Deliver direct patient care while collaborating with the Unit Director, Manager, Charge Nurse, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
  • Maintain competency and flexibility to support multiple specialty areas, including
    • Behavioral Health
    • Clinical Decision Unit
    • Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as the second RN &
    • Women's & Children's Services (Couplet Care and Pediatric Psych)
  • Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and clinical environments

What We’re Looking For

  • Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of two years of acute care RN experience required
  • Ability to independently manage responsibilities within a Float Pool/Patient Care Services role
  • Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced settings
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
  • Certification in Med/Surg and/or Geriatric Nursing preferred
