The Staff Pad has partnered with a hospital in Helena, MT to hire a Supervisor of Recruiting and Retention.

Job Summary:
The Supervisor of Recruiting and Retention serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to leaders, employees, and providers—helping to identify, design, and deliver transformative talent acquisition experiences. This role oversees recruitment programs and initiatives that align with the hospital’s vision, People First strategy, and community impact goals. The Supervisor will guide the recruiting team, support leadership in workforce planning, and ensure an exceptional candidate and employee experience from first contact through retention.

**THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION.**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement forward-thinking recruiting strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Partner with executive leaders on workforce planning and cost management.

  • Lead employment branding, sourcing, and full-cycle recruitment initiatives.

  • Manage project timelines and recruitment-related implementations.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Talent Acquisition best practices and compliance.

  • Build and maintain vendor and recruitment partner relationships.

  • Support, mentor, and evaluate recruiting team members.

  • Coordinate screening events, career fairs, and community outreach efforts.

  • Collaborate with People Services and Compensation teams on position postings and wage structures.

  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics to drive continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in talent acquisition, with leadership or consulting experience preferred.

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher in HR Management or related healthcare recruiting field required.

  • Healthcare experience required.

  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

  • Valid Montana driver’s license and excellent driving record required.
