Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive pulmonary function tests with attention to precision and patient-centered care Uphold quality control measures in accordance with department protocols Communicate effectively with patients and their families during high-stress situations Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals Accurately input patient data using electronic health systems Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years in Pulmonary Function Testing, including quality control practices Education: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Licensure: Active Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner license required Certifications: Current BLS certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment) Preferred: Registered Pulmonary Therapist designation Ideal Candidate Traits: Creative problem-solver with minimal need for supervision Effective time management and planning skills Strong interpersonal communication, especially in emotionally charged situations Technically proficient in healthcare systems and data entry
