Position Summary

SSW Premier, LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Facility Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility in Henderson, TN. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility systems and equipment with minimal supervision. The technician will play a key role in maintaining operational uptime, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety and facility standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, lighting, docks, doors, and general building structures
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control‑related issues to minimize downtime
  • Independently complete work orders while prioritizing safety, quality, and operational efficiency
  • Conduct routine facility inspections and proactively identify maintenance or improvement opportunities
  • Support facility improvement projects, minor renovations, and equipment installations
  • Coordinate with and oversee contractors as needed, ensuring safety, permit, and compliance requirements are met
  • Accurately document all work performed using the CMMS, including labor, parts usage, and root‑cause analysis
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and recommend improvements or standardization
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues and participate in on‑call rotation, overtime, or weekend coverage as required
  • Assist in training and mentoring entry‑level or junior maintenance technicians
  • Follow all safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies at all times

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong time management and task prioritization abilities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and general safety standards
  • Continuous improvement mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to support teamwork and mentor others

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Technical certification, apprenticeship, or trade school training strongly preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or commercial facilities required
  • HVAC and compressor maintenance experience required
  • Electrical license or equivalent technical credentials preferred
  • Experience using CMMS software preferred

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work in industrial environments for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry materials as required for facility maintenance tasks
  • Exposure to machinery, electrical systems, chemicals, loud noise, and varying temperatures
  • Work performed in manufacturing, office, outdoor, and confined‑space environments
  • Overtime, weekend work, or on‑call support may be required to support plant operations
