Oh, and yes, we are the same Haas that owns the Haas Factory Racing Team, and Haas F1 Team from the Netflix series: Drive to Survive.   The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for managing the Inventory Department and supporting the company with all tasks and assignments in order to accomplish its goals and the company’s goals.       Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Add Essential Duties and Responsibilities according to position. Manages the Inventory Department to accomplish its goals and objectives. Works to support other departments within the company and to accomplish company goals. Interacts & communicates with all levels within the company to achieve goals and resolve issues. Works with Purchasing & Engineering on obsolete material, ECO’s, vendor, and material issues. Works with planning to resolve inventory issues, work order problems, and bills of material (BOM) errors. Writes, establishes & approves department policies & procedures. Makes recommendations for capital expenses and reviews department operating costs. Coordinate team projects. Establishes themselves as a leader with proven abilities and skills.     • Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc. • Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.       Supervisory Responsibilities Supervisory Responsibilities Supervised Employees Directly and indirectly supervises employees. This position is held responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all work units. The managerial responsibilities include the following: supervises in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Additional responsibilities consist of: interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. 26 to 50     Qualifications Qualifications To perform this job successfully the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty adequately. Minimum Qualifications Understands budgeting, return on investment (ROI) & labor tracking. Proven ability to take on more responsibility This person is committed to continuous improvement and learning. Fully understands the working relationship between Inventory control & MRP. Has a complete understanding of how BOM work. Is able to set up and maintain Inventory accuracy goals. Demonstrated ability to educate, train and motivate employees, managing conflict and using behavior modification techniques.     Desired Qualifications Minimum 10 years work related experience in a high volume manufacturing environment. An analytical mind with strong attention to detail. Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.     Education Bachelor's Degree BA/BS/BFA/BSA from a four-year college or university is required, plus additional related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.     Preferred Major Supply Chain Management Other     Minimum Years of Experience 5-10 years       Language Skills Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations in English. Must be able to write analytical and/or technical reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and create instructional reference material. Able to speak effectively before groups, customers, employees of the organization and/or the general public.       Mathematical Skills Must have an advanced understanding of mathematical concepts including but not limited to probability, statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry, trigonometry, and/or calculus.       Reasoning Ability Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
