How you’ll contribute 

A Monitor Tech who excels in this role:

  • Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
  • Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.
  • Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
  • Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Tests equipment for proper working order.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required; Associate's Degree Preferred 

  • Handle with Care (HWC) within 6 months of hire/transfer
