Crushing/Washing Plant Operator

What You’ll Do:

Preventative maintenance of all crushing, washing and other aggregate equipment. Operate front-end loaders, keeping aggregate plants filled with the proper materials and running efficiently, load dump trucks.  This position involves the operation of a variety of Heavy Equipment, i.e., Front-end Loaders, Dozers, Skid Steers, and Aggregate Plants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Operate various types of heavy equipment used in the crushing & screening of aggregate.

• Driver off-road vehicles and loaders.

• Perform preventative maintenance of all production and off-road equipment. 

• Would be required to grease loaders and conveyors.

• Maintain safety in aggregate site and equipment operation.

• Attend educational seminars and achieve industry standards.

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area. 

• Do clean up around Crushing, Washing and Screening Plant.

• Must adhere to all MSHA and Company safety rules.

• May need to travel and stay out of town for a few days at a time.          

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current employees must attend an annual 8 hour MSHA refresher course.

• New employees must complete 24 hours of new miner training.

• New employees with mining experience more than two years prior to hire, must complete 12 hours of experienced miner training.

Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
