Bag Making Machine Operator – Henderson Nevada
$20 to $25 per hour
Position Summary: Operator loads printed rolls in feed mechanism.
Observes automatic feeding, folding, gluing, and cutting of bags to detect machine malfunctions.
Inspects completed work to detect defects and verify conformance to work order specifications and adjust machinery as necessary to correct variations.
Packs finished products into corrugated boxes. Palletizes finished product by stacking finished cases onto pallets.
Prints labels and visually inspects them for accuracy. Keeps daily time and materials usage reports and records information in a computer ERP system.
Performs preventive maintenance disassembles machine to maintain, repair, or replace broken or worn parts, using required tools.
Performs housekeeping duties.
Ability to work at least eight hour shifts and overtime when deemed necessary by management.
And any other duties that will be required to assure the completion of work in an expedient time frame.
