Production Assistant, Live Programming

The Broadcast Associate for the Las Vegas Raiders will work primarily on the Raiders’ live programming studio content. This role will be responsible for assisting Producers and working multiple roles during live and pre-taped shows. Additionally, the Broadcast Associate will assist with podcast and press conference productions and be expected to distribute content efficiently to Silver and Black Productions team members. This position will report to the Manager of Live Programming. 

 Essential Job Functions 

• Assist Raiders Producers in all aspects of production
• Edit highlight packs, soundbites and vertical video promos
• Work as camera operator for Raiders studio based and remote productions
• Work multiple positions inside of Raiders control room (graphics, replay & teleprompter)
• Log and tag footage inside Media Asset Manager
• Distribute video and audio to Social and Digital for publishing 
• Help research topics and themes to write scripts, graphic sheets and formats
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or current college student 
• General understanding of NFL rules, teams, players, and culture 
• Strong understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro and experience in video editing 
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects 
• Self-starter who can work independently and within a team environment 
• Ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed 

 Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):

• Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift 
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
• Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
