Schedule: Full-time, varying shift

How you’ll contribute 

A Phlebotomist who excels in this role performs routine laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory. 

Reports to the Director of Laboratory.

1. Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
2. Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques. 
3. Maintains equipment and medical supplies. 
4. Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

What we’re looking for 
Applicants should hold an Associate’s Degree in Science (is required). Additional requirements include:

1. MLT/MT Certification from ASCP or AMT is required.
2. Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
3. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
