We are looking for a Behavioral Health Technician who will work closely with clients to support their rehabilitation needs, providing structured and holistic support that helps clients build the skills needed to overcome, heal, and sustain long-term recovery.

Hourly Rate:

  • Up to $21 / per hour

Schedule:

  • OPEN Overnight shifts available 12:30 AM -8:30 AM

 

What will your day look like? You will:

  • Maintain a safe, structured environment for clients through regular rounds, observation, and adherence to daily/weekly schedules.

  • Observe medication that is a controlled substance and ensure clients complete self-observation sheets.

  • Perform urinalysis and breathalyzer testing as assigned, documenting and reporting results to the appropriate supervisor.

  • Transport clients to appointments, clinical services, and activities in accordance with Epiphany’s driving policy.

  • Complete accurate documentation for intakes, rounds, and shift notes, and communicate clearly through BHT chat.

  • Respond to crisis situations, including SI/HI reporting, client altercations, relapse, or AMA situations, and escalate through the proper chain of command.

  • Build positive, professional relationships with clients and staff, and stay flexible for schedule needs including last-minute coverage.

 

What you will need for this position:

  • Minimum of 1 year in the Recovery/Substance Abuse field (preferred).

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Behavioral Health Technician Certification (preferred).

  • Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), preferred.

  • CPR and Standard First Aid Certification (preferred).

  • Working knowledge of 12-Step Program, AA or NA (preferred).

  • Valid Driver’s License with a minimum 2-year clean driving record (required).
