Clinical Research Coordinator’s Main Objective: Overall, the Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for providing quality, excellent patient care and a great experience for our patients in our clinical research studies:

  • Patients have a fun, positive and comfortable experience throughout their time in our clinic
  • Patient visits are completed accurately and efficiently, with 100% adherence to clinical trial protocols
  • Patient enrollment and retention activities are executed with focus and follow-through
  • Patients understand the clinical trial process and attend and complete required visits
  • Perform intramuscular (IM) injections safely and accurately
  • Clinical data is entered accurately and on time across various medical record systems and platforms
  • Lead and main point of contact for Pharmaceutical Sponsors and Contract Research Organizations for all clinical trials
  • Ensuring sponsors and clients have amazing customer service when they are onsite at our clinic and assuring we are always providing clear, constant communication with them when they are off site
  • Physicians receive timely patient and protocol updates that reinforce confidence in the site tea


Skills needed to win:

  • Required: 1+ of professional experience, ideally in a medical or clinical environment
  • Required: Active Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) or nursing (VN, LPN, or RN) license that permits administration of intramuscular injections in Tennessee
  • Preferred B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university
  • Preferred: Professional experience in a patient-facing or healthcare position
  • Preferred: Experience in an on-site, customer-facing role
  • Coffee drinkers preferred. Tea drinkers accepted.
