The role you’ll contribute:    Â
Â
Responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Positions, moves, and assists patients to ensure accurate imaging results. This role performs clerical duties and provides basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. Assumes additional duties and responsibilities as directed by departmental leadership, including demonstrating competency in areas such as fluoroscopy, operating room, emergency department, and inpatient imaging, as defined by departmental needs. In addition, this position adheres to compliance plans and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies.

- Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely.
- Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist's scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques.
- Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
- Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
- Ability to follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, distance and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patient and staff.
The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:

- High School Grad or Equivalent [Required]
- Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
