Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s specialist Family Assessment Centre, based in Hendon.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Children’s Social Worker to work within a specialist Mother & Baby Family Assessment Centre, supporting vulnerable children and families. The role offers the chance to move away from Local Authority caseloads while continuing to make a meaningful impact on safeguarding, assessments, and positive outcomes for families. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to comprehensive parenting assessments and provide support to parents and infants in a residential setting.

What will your responsibilities be? 

  • Undertake evidence-based parenting assessments
  • Support families through residential assessment programmes
  • Safeguard children and promote positive outcomes
  • Liaise with Local Authorities, courts and partner agencies
  • Prepare detailed assessment reports and recommendations

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have;  

  • Social Work qualification and registration
  • Children's safeguarding experience
  • Experience working with complex families
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills
  • A passion for supporting children and parents
