Come join our team and make Wright Beverage your career! POSITION VISION Responsible for all aspects of our special events business in WBD territories RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Primary contact for special events, to include scheduling, coordinating orders/POS, on site set up and post evaluation. 2. Primary contact for large venues/key accounts. 3. Support for National On-Premise Accounts, 4. Review sponsorships and cost associated with potential new events. 5. Develop work schedules as needed for event coverage. 6. Point person for scheduling all equipment for special events. 7. Evaluate sponsorship proposals with management/brand team. 8. Review potential new events, cost and Sponsorships associated with them. 9. Communicate special event orders to inventory personnel/operations. Ensure all events scheduled and orders submitted 2 weeks prior to event. 10. Minimum of 6 ride withs per quarter with sales supervisors or reps (exclude 3rd quarter). 11. Maintain and update draught calendar. REQUIREMENTS 1. Knowledge of draft systems, equipment and installations. 2. Knowledge of consumer sales, retail trade, sales & strategic marketing in the beverage industry. 3. Knowledge of EoStar, Sharepoint, Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word. 4. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. 5. Strong analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills. 6. Flexibility to work extended hours including weekends. 7. Preferred experience/training to pull event trailer in case of need. 8. Must be able to acquire a NYS Liquor Authority Solicitors Permit. MINIMUM/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Minimum: High School Diploma Preferred: College Degree Skills: Minimum: Strong communication skills including verbal & written. Proficient in Microsoft office applications. Ability to work in a team environment at retail and with co-workers. Must maintain a professional attitude in all situations and represent WBD in a professional and responsible manner at all times. Preferred: Superior communication skills. Strong math skills, creative initiative. Experience: Minimum: 2 years in sales position Preferred: Any experience in Spirit and Beverage industry. Must be comfortable interacting with retail accounts. Exposed to all weather conditions due to amount of travel associated with position. Ability to drive to branch locations on regular basis as required. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as required. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS Must hold a valid, clean NYS driver’s license that is acceptable to our insurance carrier with reliable transportation. Level 1 Cicerone Certified required through WBD.
