Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team at our Rochester, NY facility.

Essential Functions:

·         Responsible for conducting tests on a variety of RF or digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or end products. 

·         Will be using a variety of test equipment and logging information in technical databases. 

·         Basic troubleshooting

·         Fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.   

·         Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours).

Required Qualifications:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of technician or troubleshooting experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

·         Currently enrolled in an electrical technician degree program

·         Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering theory

·         Associates degree (technical discipline) 

·         Electronics / RF Troubleshooting Experience

·         Experience with Harris RFCD products and assembly processes

·         Able to perform LabVIEW driven automated tests

·         Familiar with basic test equipment, i.e. Signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers

·         Able to read and understand schematic diagrams

·         MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

·         Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements

·         Strong communication skills

·         Familiarity with basic computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel (Unicam knowledge a plus)

·         Willingness to work and learn in fast-paced production environment

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $19.72/hr. - $33.12/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
