Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented RF Engineer to join our team on the Parsons US Army TENCAP Program! In this role, you will serve as a key technical expert in Radio Frequency (RF) systems, supporting the integration, evaluation, and development of advanced technologies for a large, complex technical program. You will provide specialized expertise in RF propagation, spectrum analysis, and system design to enhance mission-critical capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Leading the integration, testing, and evaluation of RF systems, including ground/air surveillance radar systems, long-range camera systems, and other sensor technologies.
  • Providing technical expertise in RF propagation modeling and spectrum analysis to support system design and operational strategies.
  • Supporting the installation, evaluation, and maintenance of RF systems in domestic and overseas environments.
  • Ensuring effective use of fiber optics, ethernet, and microwave systems for content delivery and control during installation and operation.
  • Developing and implementing system designs and integration strategies for both fixed-site and mobile platforms.
  • Driving requirements development for complex systems, ensuring alignment with operational needs and technical specifications.
  • Performing technical electronics testing and maintenance using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, voltage meters, and other test equipment.
  • Preparing and delivering briefings and reports to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and stakeholders.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related engineering field) from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Prior military experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • 15+ years of related professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in RF propagation modeling and RF spectrum analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical electronics testing and maintenance utilizing spectrum analyzers, signal generators, voltage meters, and network/cable verification equipment.
  • 5+ years of experience integrating long-range camera systems and other sensor technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience with fiber optics, ethernet, and microwave systems for content delivery and control.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing Human-Machine Interface (HMI) requirements for system control and situational awareness displays.
  • 5+ years of experience in briefing preparation, presentation, and delivery to diverse audiences.
  • An active TS/SCI security clearance is required for this position.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related engineering field) from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Experience with military special operations, providing insights to enhance operational strategies and system performance.
  • Experience in foreign field operations, including system installation and evaluation in austere environments.

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.
