Test Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced Automated Test Engineer to join our agile development team. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background in QA automation, experience with CI/CD pipelines, and a passion for quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage

• Maintain and enhance existing automated test frameworks

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work closely with the dev team for resolution

• Contribute to test planning, reporting, and continuous improvement of QA processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in software QA with focus on test automation

• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar

• Experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)

• Familiarity with REST APIs and automated API testing

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, or similar CI/CD tools

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience testing cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)

• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
