Job Responsibilities

· Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.

· Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.

· Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing.

· Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports.

· Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.

· Direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.

Required Skills/Work Experience

· 3-5 years of related experience

· Knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

· Proficiency in testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, Postman).

· Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or JUnit.

· Implement continuous integration and testing pipelines to streamline the QA process.

· Test the scalability, reliability, and performance of software under different loads.

· Use performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to identify bottlenecks.

· Ensure that the product meets quality standards and adheres to requirements.

· Validate that all features function as intended and provide a positive user experience.

· Understanding of programming languages for automation (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).

· Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).

· Develop test strategies, plans, and schedules based on project requirements.

· Define test objectives, scope, and success criteria.

· Design and document test cases, scenarios, and scripts for manual and automated testing.

· Identify test data requirements and prepare test environments.

· Conduct manual and automated tests to verify software or hardware functionality.

· Perform various types of testing, such as functional, regression, performance, usability, and security testing.

· Identify, document, and report bugs or defects in the product.

· Collaborate with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues.

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or related fiel
