What You'll Do

• Perform screening mammography exams
• Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality images
• Ensure imaging meets radiologist diagnostic standards
• Provide clear communication and reassurance during exams
• Follow imaging protocols and safety procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologist teammates

• Enjoys helping patients feel comfortable during medical procedures
• Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality imaging
• Communicates clearly and compassionately with patients
• Works well in a team-based healthcare environment

• ARRT (R) certification
• Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Mammography experience
• DXA experience (training may be available)
