Job Description:

Begin your professional journey as a Supply Chain Associate-Capture Support , where you will support acquisition and capture activities that drive mission success for GDIT customers. In this entry‑level role, you will work across capture strategist teams to assist with material pricing, subcontract coordination, operational documentation, and general capture process support.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

Joining GDIT’s Capture team means stepping into a developmental role with exposure to multiple stages of the sourcing, procurement, and capture lifecycle. Under the guidance of senior team members, you will assist in maintaining an organized, accurate, and compliant capture workbook while learning the tools and processes that support acquisition success after award.

In this role, you will:

  • Support material pricing tasks, data entry, and basic cost research for capture packages
  • Assist with subcontract documentation, tracking, status updates, and coordination with internal partners
  • Collect, organize, and maintain capture‑related operational data, reports, and documentation
  • Help identify workflow issues or bottlenecks and elevate them to senior team members as needed
  • Prepare simple reports, updates, and summaries for capture and operational/execution activities
  • Serve as a cross‑functional resource, supporting multiple capture strategists and the operations lead activities as priorities shift
  • Participate in improvement efforts to streamline tools, templates, and processes
  • Learn acquisition, sourcing, and capture procedures to support more advanced tasks over time

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

We’re looking for an eager learner ready to build foundational experience in capture, supply chain operations, and acquisition.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of work experience/training in lieu of a degree
  • Experience: 6+ months' relevant business experience (internships, part‑time roles, co‑ops, or entry‑level positions in operations, procurement, supply chain, business, finance, or administrative support are all acceptable)
  • Demonstrated interest in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, pricing, or capture‑related work.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; ability to quickly learn new tools and systems
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and maintain accurate data
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams
  • Analytical mindset with willingness to learn acquisition and capture processes and procedures
  • Self‑starter who asks questions, seeks guidance, and is eager to grow into increasingly complex responsibilities

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.52 - $36.23. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
