Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) / Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) seeks an Audio/Visual Programmer to join our team in the National Capital Region to support direct work on high visibility projects with oversight and direct responsibility for successful support to our customers and users.  You will need to demonstrate proficiency in A/V programming and architecture, particularly with Crestron equipment and environments.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test high performance AV solutions for government customers.
  • Generate custom audiovisual control system code and user interfaces using Crestron technologies
  • Support customer stakeholder meetings to collect and document or validate system requirements.  Research, identify, and recommend technology options to solve customer problems.
  • Support onsite deployment and configuration of AV systems. Coordinate with customer facilities teams and other onsite sub-contractors and vendors during systems installation as required.
  • Support the development of end-user training materials and operations and maintenance plans.
  • Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations.
  • Develop expertise in the industry through continuing training, certifications, and review of trade publications.

This position requires an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP).  (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

This position is contingent on clearance verification and customer concurrence.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Years of related experience: 1+ for level 2, 3+ for level 3, 5+ for level 4
  • Crestron experience.
  • Experience in Object Oriented Programming ( C# , Swift, ObjC , C++ ).
  • Experience working with HTML5.
  • Experience in graphic design and content development.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Knowledge of software systems configuration management
  • C# programming experience.
  • Object oriented programming experience
  • HTML/web programming (for user interface design) experience
  • Crestron Gold level programming Certification or higher
  • Experience working with local and remote teams
  • Experience interfacing directly with all levels of staff and management
  • Experience working as a member of a development team
  • Experience translating customer requirements into software designs
  • Basic understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and networking fundamentals

Level 2: $90,100 to $121,9000
