Position Summary

• Responsible for providing nuclear medicine imaging services.

Principal Accountabilities

Education

• Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine

Licenses and Certification

• IEMA

• ARRT or CNMT

• BLS

Experience and Skills

• Technical Experience: 1 year

• Lead: 5 years

Physical Activities

• Intermittent hand manipulation required

• Intermittent lifting and carrying of 20 pounds

Role Specific Responsibilities

o Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine examinations.

o Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals.

o Maintains equipment.

o Ensures radioactive material is properly received, stored, inventoried and

disposal.

o Verifies patient information.

o Lead: Coordinates duty assignments to nuclear medicine technologists.

o Lead: Performs and maintains Nuclear Medicine Quality Control

activities.

o Lead: Serves as a Radiation Safety Officer.
