Operating Room Technician/Student

Position Summary
• Responsible for preparing the operating room and patient for the procedure, under the direction/supervision of OR personnel

Education
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be currently enrolled in the Surgical Technologist Program

Licenses and Certification
• BLS Required

Experience and Skills
• Technical Experience: Must have completed first clinical rotation.

Role Specific Responsibilities
• Assist Surgeon.
• Prepares patient and room for the planned surgical procedures.
• Performs under the direction/supervision of OR personnel (RN’s and/or OR Technicians)
