The Senior Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for preparing competitive project estimates, managing awarded projects, overseeing budgets and schedules, coordinating field operations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. This leadership role requires exceptional organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating

  • Review plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Perform complete quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
  • Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontract pricing.
  • Prepare bid proposals and value engineering recommendations.
  • Participate in bid reviews and project handoff meetings.
Project Management

  • Manage multiple electrical construction projects from award through completion.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and staffing requirements.
  • Monitor project costs, productivity, and financial performance.
  • Prepare and track change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with owners, engineers, general contractors, inspectors, and field supervisors.
  • Conduct project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to contract specifications.
  • Review monthly cost reports and forecast project profitability.
