Summary:
The Contents and Warehouse Operations Manager leads, motivates, and supports a Contents & Warehouse division —Â
contents pack-out, cleaning, textiles, storage, and the warehouse function — to ensure customer satisfaction, revenueÂ
growth, profit growth, management development, and staff development. They oversee all operational activities andÂ
pursue operational objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Continuously pursue strategic and operational objectives.
• Oversee the management of operational activities.
• Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of theÂ
organization.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure a positive customer and client experience.
• Manage staff development of the Contents & Warehouse division.
• Work closely with the Managing Director to ensure operations remain compliant with legal and regulatoryÂ
requirements.
• Develop, implement, and oversee protocols to maintain facility, vehicles, equipment, and consumables.
• Review, document, and discuss operational outcomes and key measures with the Managing Director.
• Analyze the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization'sÂ
internal capacity.
• Maintain the development of leadership and management skills, as well as contents, textiles, and warehouse expertise.
• Other tasks/duties as required by employer.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED required, Associates or Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
• Industry certifications strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business operations.
• Minimum 3 years management experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and management skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
This is a management position routinely working in an office environment; however, field visits and field management willÂ
require jobsite activities. Occasional jobsite activities may involve lifting 50 pounds independently, occasionally lifting up toÂ
100 pounds with assistance, walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing ladders, utilizingÂ
scaffolding or lifts, pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects, working around chemicals, and working overhead.
While performing occasional jobsite duties, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee isÂ
occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions such as heat, noxious odors, etc. The noise level in the workÂ
environment and jobsites may be loud. The employee will be required to occasionally wear a respirator for their safety.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements:
This is a full-time position working 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week. This position frequentlyÂ
requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including evenings and weekends, as needed. Travel is required and is primarilyÂ
local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
