Position Summary

The Emergency Room Technician (ER Tech) provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. The ER Tech assists with patient care, performs clinical and non-clinical duties, and supports the healthcare team in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients of all ages.


Qualifications

  • Completion of an approved Patient Care Technician (PCT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an acute care or emergency setting preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
